I'm so looking forward to Christmas, the celebrations can start now that all orders have been finished and delivered. My online shops are closed until the beginning of January and I'm going to have a relaxing break with my family until the new year. I've had a busy year and am looking forward to the next one, hoping it's just as manic. I'd like to wish all my customers and blog followers a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

This year's children's Christmas card
Each year my children, Finlay 7(tomorrow!) and Ruby 3, draw lovely Christmas pictures that I scan and print as Christmas cards for their grandparents. This year they drew beautiful Christmas trees.
Here's their snowmen from last year...

Atelier
Atelier contemporary craft gallery is the first bricks and mortar shop to stock gooseberrymoon products. I've been asked by a few galleries and shops in the past and have always said no, partly because I never thought I was ready to start supplying my stationery in large(ish) quantities, and also I didn't think it would be worth my while as the commission is always so high. However, Atelier was a little different, firstly because Tracey, the owner, wouldn't take no for an answer, and secondly she was one of my first ever customers to buy from my Folksy shop and I really wanted to give some support back.
Tracey worked so hard to transform an empty shell into an amazing gallery space in a short space of time, you can check out her blog to see images of the before and after. The gallery opened its doors to the public mid July this year and I am so pleased at how well my stationery is selling. I'm now working on the 3rd order for the gallery and have lots of lovely notebooks and notecards to finish and pack ready to be sent down to Barnstaple.
I'd love to go and visit the gallery, but Devon is way too far from North Wales to be able to just pop by! Maybe I'll have to schedule in a holiday to lovely North Devon. You can find out more about Atelier by visiting the website.

October Folkfest
As a personal challenge I've joined the Folksy daily listings club for October. This will be a huge challenge for me but I'm hoping it will make me more organised on the listings and promoting front. It's also a bit of an experiment to see if it makes any difference to the number of sales I get, I'll compare at the end of the month and let you know.
Here are some of my favourite Halloween items listed by fellow October Folkfesters over the last few days. Click on the images to find out more.
Vintage Style Halloween Potion Gift Tags x 9 £2.25

Colour palettes - Frosted pink and sea green
I've been playing on COLOURlovers and created a couple of palettes perfect for wedding stationery. I've applied them to my Winter Cow Parsley design to illustrate how pretty they are.

Seedheads notebook
In need of a new design for my notebooks I set to work and doodled this seedhead design which looks great grouped together to make a surface pattern.
My new seedheads design has been digitally printed onto teal or purple card with black pigment ink and filled with 20 pages of crisp white paper to create a cute A6 notebook. Will be available in my Folksy shop soon.

New designs
A quick peak at two of my latest designs coming soon to my Folksy shop. Both designs will be available as a pack of four notecards.
First up is Russian Dolls. I've changed the colour palette and the configuration of the colours on this design sooooo many times, but I'm finally happy and the colours print so well. They're just so pretty!
Winter Cow Parsley has been created from one of my illustrations and digitally coloured in soft muted blues and greens, and a touch of brown. This design sits perfectly along side my other floral designs that have the same feel of simplicity.

All done and dusted
Had a busy week or so creating and packing a wholesale order for a brand new (not yet open) gallery that will be stocking my notecards and notebooks. I'll blog more about the gallery soon.
And the last of the huge wedding stationery order I've been working on for Peter and Gemma has been finished and delivered. Peter and Gemma have been fantastic to work with, I'm sure they'll have the most amazing day on Friday and I wish them all the very best for their future together.
