New online shop

I'm now on my second week of working full time for myself and it all seems to be going well. I've got orders coming in, I'm loving being in my new work space and I'm ticking a few things off my long list of 'must dos'. One of the things on that list was to build a transactional shop on my own website. And here it is. I've only added my notecards so far but will be adding more soon.

Making magazine

Having waited over a week for Making magazine to land on my doorstep, I couldn't wait any longer and purchased a copy from the newsagents yesterday (I bet my freebie will turn up tomorrow!). It took me two lots of flicking through before I found my personalised teacher notecards on page 11. They're featured on the 'crafty buys' page, for sophisticated pieces for the study. What a great magazine it is too. Full of crafty makes and inspiration.

New design - Marmalade cat

It's been a while since I created a new design. So here's my latest, a gorgeous marmalade cat. Coming soon to my Folksy shop in packs of 4 notecards and manilla envelopes.

Happy (belated) new year. After a lovely New year break in mid Wales I'm trying my hardest to get back into work mode.


I've eased myself in gently by creating some of my designs onto manilla card. These are now available in my Folksy shop.

Owl notecard giveaway

I first opened my Folksy shop in March this year and can remember how chuffed I was to get my first sale, and over the moon when I reached 10 sales. So imagine my joy and excitement to receive an order yesterday that got me to my 100th sale.

Not sure how I'm going to get on with this blogging thing, but I'm going to give it a go. I think it will be a great way to record my ideas and insripation and the progress of gooseberrymoon. So here's my first. I'm in an Etsy treasury - yey!
